St Ann’s Primary School
Overview
JP Harrisons were appointed to deliver a 121.98kWp Solar PV array for St Ann’s School as part of a Department of Education project, the installation was commissioned through the M&E Contractor, West Lancs Group. The system was designed to provide the school with a reliable, on-site source of renewable energy, reducing electricity costs and supporting sustainability objectives.
The system was installed on a flat roof using a ballasted mounting solution, ensuring stability and structural safety, without penetrating the roof. A Fireman’s switch was incorporated to meet fire safety requirements and provide quick isolation of the system in emergency situations.
